Creating Rounder and Viewer Permissions

 
 

Rocket Rounding offers robust and flexible user profile permissions for Digital Rounding.

These give any network or location the ability to control the flow of rounding information such as who can create round data, who can view round data, and who can respond to round data. The Rounder permission and the Viewer permission are the most common type of permission when creating a location profile.

  • A Rounder profile allows the user to round on groups and their subjects. Groups and subjects need to be assigned to a Rounder. Rounders are also able to view dashboard data for their assigned groups and subjects, or the dashboard data can be hidden from them if desired.

  • A Viewer profile allows the user to view groups and their subjects or just dashboard data. Unlike a Rounder, groups and subjects do not need to be assigned to the profile.

To create a Rounder:


1. Select “Location profiles” from the side navigation. This opens a list view of Location profiles for the active location. *Please note the location must be “active” for profiles to be added.

2. Click “+ Location profile” in the upper left corner

3. Add the full name for the user profile you are creating

5. Select the permission “Rounder” or “Viewer”

6. Click “Assign groups & categories in the lower right corner. This gives the rounder you are creating the ability to round on groups at your location

7. Choose as many groups as you would like your rounder to round on

8. Choose any categories you want to assign to the rounder. Note this is optional and only means the rounder will show up in a list of potential user profiles that can receive alerts based on a question response that falls under the correct category in a survey

9. Click “Create” in the lower right corner to add the user profile to your location

Adding multiple user profiles with the same permission and assigned groups

Rocket Rounding allows you to add multiple users on the form. These users will have the exact same permissions as one another. This is not the same as the “Bulk user” upload feature

  1. Click “+Add another profile” under the first user profile

  2. Add a full name and email of the additional user profile you want to add that will have the same permissions

Add as many additional user profiles with the same permissions as you want to the form before clicking the “Create” button
